EazyJet is known for their cheap and affordable prices on flights from the uk, how ever they’re taking their budgets to a whole new level by you with a ‘Backless’ seat. SHOCKING… I know.
An EasyJet passenger has been photographed sitting on a ‘Backless’ seat from Luton to Geneva. Now I’m pretty sure planes are meant to have safety check before letting anyone on… NOT with EasyJet.
This image was posted twitter this morning and has already been retweeted 1,700 times and has 1,800 likes.
EasyJet responded to Matthews tweet saying “Remove the photograph” so the airline could investigate this bizarre issue.
The tweet said: “Hi Matthew, thanks for bringing this to our attention, before we can investigate this could I ask you to remove the photograph & then DM us more info regarding this, so we can best assist you.”
Matthew Harris responded to EasyJet with what he claims is a real photo of the flight saying : “absolutely not”.
EasyJet Spokesman: “No passengers were permitted to sit in these seats as they were inoperative awaiting repair. Safety is our highest priority and easyJet operates its fleet of aircraft in strict compliance with all safety guidelines.”
